I have taught all levels of chemistry for 23 years - and I love what I do! My approach is to create a safe, caring, community of learners while teaching good habits and useful learning strategies. A lot of my philosophy is based on the mechanisms of learning and memory which I studied and researched while getting my degree in neuroscience. The American Chemical Society named me Lloyd D. Ryland Outstanding Chemistry Teacher in CA in 2014, and I have since been invited to give workshops in which I share my teaching strategies and philosophy. I have also broken school records for the highest AP scores and have received excellent evaluations from students, parents, and supervisors. Students who want to make sure they are ready for the rigorous demands of chemistry will benefit from my summer prep course!

This course will meet for 6 weeks. 4 x week for lecture, with two optional one-on- one sessions per week for help with problem sets. $3500. Additional time can be purchased for $100/hour.
10 WEEK COURSE
2 x Week
+ 2 One on One Sessions/Week
June 1 -Aug 6
This course will meet for 8 weeks. 3 x week for lecture, with two optional one-on- one sessions per week for help with problem sets. $3500. Additional time can be purchased for $100/hour.
